The Office of Human Resources and the Hammond Health Center would like to announce that there are still doses of flu vaccine available for all benefits-eligible employees at no cost!

If a number of employees in a department wish to receive a flu shot, a representative from the Health Center will come to the department and administer the vaccinations.

Employees are asked to have their ID cards and to dress appropriately to receive a shot in the upper arm (in other words: wear short sleeves or clothing that can be removed easily).

The single best way to prevent seasonal flu is to get vaccinated each year, but good health habits like covering your cough and washing your hands often can help prevent respiratory illnesses like the flu.

  1. Avoid close contact
  2. Stay home when you are sick
  3. Cover your mouth and nose
  4. Clean your hands
  5. Avoid touching your face
  6. Practice good health habits

Please contact Tanisha Graves (ngraves@ithaca.edu, 274-3083) or Mary Kranz (mkranz@ithaca.edu, 274-1180) to register.

Thank you!
