Ithaca College

Calling hours are being held this weekend for Ithaca College sophomore Saverio Montanino, who passed away unexpectedly on campus on Thursday, December 11. Friends may call on Saturday, December 13, 5:00-9:00 p.m.; and Sunday, December 14, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m., at Freeman Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church, 100 North Main Street, Marlboro, New Jersey 07746.

Saverio was majoring in outdoor adventure leadership in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. A resident of Manalapan, he had graduated in 2007 from the Marine Academy of Science and Technology.

Members of the campus community needing support services over the weekend may call the Office of Public Safety at 607-274-3333 to be put in touch with the on-call counselor. Regular appointments can be made by calling the Counseling Center at 274-3136 during normal business hours.
