Vice President for Enrollment Finalists to Visit CampusContributed by Marisa Kelly on 01/06/09 On behalf of the search committee for the vice president for enrollment management, I am pleased to announce that three finalists will visit campus for interviews during the next several weeks. On January 12 and 13, Mr. Roberto Noya will be on campus for a variety of activities, including a public forum. On Monday, January 12, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Emerson Suites, Mr. Noya will speak on "Successful Enrollment Strategies in a Challenging Environment." The campus community is invited and encouraged to attend to meet him and give feedback to the search committee. A native of Santurce, Puerto Rico, Mr. Noya completed undergraduate studies at New York University, and a master's degree in education at Harvard. He has worked in admissions at Harvard, Princeton, New College, Drew, and Goucher. Most recently, Mr. Noya has served as dean of enrollment services at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. He helped develop new financial aid policies to lower the indebtedness of low- and middle-income students and has hosted a colloquium on alternate rubrics for selection, attended by college admissions professionals, high school counselors, and representatives of the Posse Foundation, the Education Conservancy, and the College Board. Information on the other two finalists will be announced prior to each candidate's visit to campus. |
