The Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF) celebrates the new year and the inauguration of a new president of the United States with a special rate on student festival passes: $20.09!

Just show your student ID and pick up a pass at a 38 percent discount to FLEFF 2009. Student festival passes typically sell for $32.50. Students from any college, university, high school, middle school or elementary school with ID are eligible. This special offer expires on January 31, 2009.

Passes can be purchased at the Ithaca College Bookstore, and downtown at Cinemapolis and Fall Creek.

Passes can also be purchased at the next FLEFF event, this Monday, January 19. We’re screening a festival preview of the film Tulia, a new documentary about the drug war and racism. Marlon Byrd from the Ithaca Police Department and Todd Schack from IC's Department of Journalism will lead the post-screening discussion. The screening is at 10:00 a.m. in Klingenstein Lounge and is part of the College's MLK Day celebration. The screening is cosponsored with the environmental studies program.
