Would you like to wake up to the sounds and tastes of Italy right here on campus? At Amici, you can!
Whether or not Italian blood runs in your veins, starting in fall 2009, Amici will give you an opportunity to live in a housing community where you can explore Italy's rich cultural traditions, practice your Italian, and meet people who share your love for Il Bel Paese! You don't have to be fluent in Italian: in Amici you will be able to immerse yourself in Italian culture and participate in regular events such as film nights, cooking programs, conversation groups, guest talks, music nights and so on, where you can improve your language skills and learn interesting facts about Italy and its people. Amici will be housed in Terrace 11 and its events will be open to all Ithaca College students. Applications for the Amici learning community are available on HomerConnect as of January 21, and are due by February 6. Space is limited, so make sure you sign up as soon as possible! For more information, please contact Marella Feltrin-Morris (mfeltrinmorris@ithaca.edu) or Julia Cozzarelli (jcozzarelli@ithaca.edu).
