Anthropology's David Turkon publishes article in southern Africa newspaper

David Turkon of the Department of Anthropology published an article, "Fight Against AIDS Requires Collective Action," in the December 18 edition of the Lesotho Times.

The article critiqued how the fight against AIDS in Lesotho is hampered by non-coordinated interventions executed through many different Non-Governmental Organizations. David highlighted his research and work in Lesotho, which is centered on bringing about a multidisciplinary, holistic and national approach to HIV and AIDS.
