Ithaca College

Under the advisement of Phoebe Constantinou, assistant professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education, six students presented at the 71st annual meeting of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance in Verona, New York on November 20, 2008. The student were: Allison Baud, Jeremy Harris, Brian Horner, David Villegas, John Schamarek and Rhonda Morse.

The session was entitled "Everybody Up." It actively involved participants in practical inclusive activities that can be easily implemented in any school curriculum. In addition, the session shared teaching strategies that addressed issues such as student motor skill level, interest, gender, race, culture and preparation for physical education class
