The Ithaca College student chapter of the American Choral Directors Association has won Outstanding Student Chapter for the second year in a row.

This honor recognizes the chapter for its "incredible energy and activity, for innovation, and for serving as a model to other chapters in the country," according to Jeffrey Carter, ACDA's chair for youth and student activities.

Megan Armenio '09 serves as the organization's president and professor of music education Janet Galvan is the faculty advisor.

The award will be presented at ACDA's national convention in Oklahoma City.
