Ithaca College

The Office of Human Resources welcomes Alison Bowman as Assistant Manager for Student Employment beginning February 16, 2009.

Alison joins us from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina where she served as HRIS/Benefits Specialist and HR Coordinator for Wild Dunes Resort. Alison brings extensive experience with the Oracle HR Information system which will be of great benefit as the Student Employment Office transitions to online time reporting. Alison received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Plattsburgh, and both she and her husband are excited about the opportunity to return to upstate New York.

Alison will be working with Beth Blinn, Manager for Student Employment, and the rest of the Recruitment and Student Employment team. Beth took over the role as Manager this past January in preparation for the impending departure of Barbara Barnes, Assistant Director for Student Employment. Barbara will continue to work with us on a part-time basis throughout the spring semester until she retires at the end of May 2009.

Please stop by the Student Employment office located on the third floor of the campus center to welcome Alison to Ithaca College and congratulate Beth on her new role.
