Peter Silberman Presents Invited Lectures in South Carolina

Peter Silberman, assistant professor of music theory in the School of Music, presented two guest lectures at the School of Music at the University of South Carolina on Friday, Feb. 13.

Silberman presented "Another Look at Prolongation in Post-Tonal Music" to a graduate seminar in Contemporary Tonality, and "John Harbison's Use of Music of the Past" to the Composition Seminar.
