Workshops: Intergenerational Service Learning in Higher EducationContributed by Christine Pogorzala on 02/19/09 The Foundation for Long Term Care (FLTC) is offering workshops in Rochester (March 31) and Syracuse (April 14) on the topic, "Intergenerational Service Learning in Higher Education." There is no fee for these workshops, which are targeted to faculty and community agencies. Workshop topics will include: "The Intergenerational Classroom," "Selling Intergenerational Service Learning to College Administration," "Linking Scholarship to Intergenerational Service Learning," "Researching Funding Opportunities," "Recruiting the Older Volunteer," and "Building Campus-Community Partnerships."
