President Tom Rochon and Provost Kathleen Rountree announce that the spring semester meetings for faculty will be held on Wednesday, March 4, and Thursday, March 5, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. (or shortly after) on both dates.

Both meetings will be held in Park Auditorium in the Roy H. Park School of Communications.

The spring semester meetings for faculty have typically been held in mid-April. After consultation with Faculty Council chair Stan Seltzer, we have moved these meetings up to early March in recognition of the fact that there are a number of current topics of intense interest.

These topics include implications of the budget adopted for 2009-10, the strategic visioning process, and other matters. The meetings will present an opportunity for faculty to raise any subjects with the president and provost that they may wish.
