President Rochon Declares Monday, March 9, a College Holiday

Earlier this academic year we modified our College holiday policy to trade the Monday of spring break for Friday after New Year's Day.

A lot has happened during the last few months in our world and at Ithaca College. The state of the economy has brought many uncertainties and added stress to the daily lives of everyone. While we can’t control the economic circumstances that surround us, we can recognize that Ithaca College employees work hard and, especially in these trying times, you deserve a break.

Therefore, I am making a one-time exception to our modified holiday schedule and declare Monday, March 9, an all-College holiday. The College will be officially closed that day and standard holiday personnel policies and procedures will be in effect.

Enjoy this special time everyone. You've earned it.
