The Northeast Horn Workshop will be held March 13-15 at the Ithaca College School of Music, featuring classes, performances, and lectures all about the French horn.

Two of the concerts will be free and open to the public:

  • On Friday, March 13, at 8:15 in the Hockett Family Recital Hall, there will be works by Jeff Myers, Wolfgang Plagge, Gerard Grisey and others, performed by Laura Klock, William Hite, Gregory Hayes, Janine Gaboury, Josh Phillips, and Nathan Koci.
  • On Sunday, March 15, at 1:15 in Ford Hall, there will be a concert featuring the mass choir of the participants.

On Saturday, March 14, there will be three concerts in the Hockett Family Recital Hall, each with a $20 admission fee, payable at the door in cash.

  • At 2:00 p.m., Adams Unsworth will give a horn recital.
  • At 4:00 p.m., the American Horn Quartet will present a concert.
  • At 8:15 p.m., there will be a concert of the horn music of School of Music composer Dana Wilson. Performers will include Gail Williams, the American Horn Quartet, pianist Jennifer Hayghe, and violinist Linda Case.
