Ithaca College

The Department of Writing is pleased to announce the 2009 Writing Contest, open to any currently enrolled Ithaca College student. We will award prizes to the contest winners and publish the winning entries in a small volume and online.

Categories for Submission

Fiction
Poetry
First-Year Essay
Expository Essay
Creative Nonfiction

The deadline for entries is Friday, April 10, at 5:00 p.m.

Winners will be announced April 23, 2009 on our website and department bulletin board.

Contest winners will be honored at a reading and celebration at the Handwerker Gallery on Thursday April 30, 2009 at 6:30p.m.
