LeBron Rankins, Ph.D., a psychologist in the Counseling Center, gave the keynote address for the annual Mark Euken Colloquium at Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio, on March 11.

The Mark Euken Colloquium is "an annual program that celebrates the memory of an exemplary student, Mark Euken. Since Mark was preparing for an academic career in social psychology, the colloquium typically provides a platform for an address by a researcher in this area."

This year, the organizers broadened the scope of the program to include presentation and discussion of the application of psychological research to clinical practice. Rankins' presentation was titled, "The Science of Psychology and the Art of Clinical Practice."
