Four people from the Gerontology Institute traveled to San Antonio, Texas, to attend the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) 2009 conference, held February 26-March 1.

Professor and institute director John A. Krout presented at AGHE's symposium on intergenerational service learning.

Mary Ann Erickson, associate professor, conducted a resource exchange, titled "A Storytelling Component of Intergenerational Service Learning."

Christine Decker, project coordinator for the Finger Lakes Geriatric Education Center grant, conducted a resource exchange, titled "Geriatric Education in Rural Areas: The Importance of Community Partners."
