Noontime Concert with Kabir Musicians from Madhya Pradesh, India!Contributed by Denise Nuttall on 03/23/09
On Thursday, March 26, at the Muller Chapel, 12:15-1:00 p.m., Ithaca College will host one of India's premier singers of Kabir poetry, Prahlad Singh Tipanya and Party. Kabir was a mystic philosopher and poet (born in 1440) whose profound poems emphasize unity without religious barriers. This concert is sponsered by the Departments of Anthropology and History and the Diversity Awareness Committee. |
