IC SafeWater's Benefit Concert -- Only a Few Days Away!Contributed by Elizabeth Getman on 03/31/09
We are only $1,000 away from our goal of $10,000, which will provide clean water wells and sanitation systems to a village in Ethiopia. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to WaterAid, an international charity that supplies developing nations with potable water, adequate sanitation, and hygiene education. It has been two years since we began our fund-raising and we are almost there! Your support will help us reach our goal. This event is free and open to the public. IC SafeWater will hold its annual benefit concert with performances by VoiceStream, Premium Blend and Spit That! on Sunday, April 5, at 7:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites. It's our last big event of the semester and we need your help to make it a success!
