Join us as witnesses to the crisis of displacement in Colombia. Colombian filmmaker Jorge Daniel Vallejo presents Las Chingas, a documentary about the violence in inner-city Colombia, on Thursday, March 26, at 7:00 p.m. in room 206 of the Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise.

After the film there will be a question-and-answer period with the filmmaker.

Vallejo is a former faculty member of Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, and works with youth groups to challenge urban violence and alleviate poverty.

The event is sponsored by the Latin American studies program. It is free and open to the public.
