Interdisciplinary Courses: More Than the Sum of Their PartsContributed by Nancy Jacobson on 03/25/09 An interdisciplinary teaching workshop will be held this Friday, March 27, 3:00-5:00 p.m. in room 204 of the Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise. Learn how faculty are collaborating to teach across disciplines and even schools! A panel of IC faculty will present the benefits of and roadblocks to a variety of collaborative teaching models. This is a timely topic as we as a college look at how best to create an integrative curriculum.
Panelists include Mara Alper, Catherine Gooch, Paula Ioanide, Julia Lapp, Nick Quarrier, Jim Rothenberg, Tanya Saunders, Warren Schlesinger, and Gary Wells.
This workshop is sponsored by the Faculty Development Committee and the Center for Faculty Excellence. For further information, please contact Nancy Jacobson at jacobson@ithaca.edu.
