Park Center for Independent Media Award Winners to Be Featured on Bill Moyers Journal

This week, the Park Center for Independent Media awarded Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman and blogger Glen Greenwald with its first Izzy award. The award is named after the legendary dissident journalist Isidor Feinstein “Izzy” Stone and is given for special achievement in independent media.

The two winners will be featured on the Bill Moyers Journal, Friday, April 3, and will talk about receiving their award and the importance of independent media. The show airs on most PBS stations at 9:00 p.m., including WSKG, and will be on Syracuse PBS channel 24 at 10:30 p.m.
