The newly formed Ithaca College Sinfonietta, supervised by faculty member Jeff Meyer, will have its first performance Tuesday, April 7, at 9:00 p.m. in Ford Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music. Admission is free.

Graduate students Kevin Ryan and Jesse Livingston will lead the group in a performance of the Nabucco Overture by Guiseppe Verdi, "Slavonic Dances" by Antonin Dvorak, the Overture to Coriolan by Ludwig van Beethoven, and Symphony No. 9, also by Dvorak.
