Save the date: April 26, at 10:00 a.m., the starter will signal the beginning of the IC Hope Relay for Life team's inaugural 5k run/walk, Logan's Run for IC Hope! 

With a healthy course around campus, we will both raise money to support cancer research and honor the memory of 11-year-old Logan, who inspired us all with his courage, positive attitude, and determination as he bravely fought brain cancer. Logan lost his battle in September 2008.

We know you won't want to miss this event ... read on for important details on how to sign up!

Logan's story reached our team just before the 2008 Relay for Life and he immediately became our inspiration for the event. IC Hope will never forget this incredible young man.  It is for people like Logan that we continue to fight cancer through fund-raising. Here are the important race details:

When: Sunday, April 26, 2009
Check-in/registration: 8:30-9:30 am
Start: 10:00 a.m.

Where: The race begins in parking lot C on campus; follow the signs. Course is mostly a road race through the campus and back

Entry Fee: Preregistration: $15, must be postmarked by April 20; after April 20 (including day of race): $20. Please make checks payable to "American Cancer Society" and mail with form to Patti Banfield, Office of Student Engagement, Ithaca College, 953 Danby Road, Ithaca NY 14850-7000. Logan's Run T-shirts will go to the first 100 registered.
