Ithaca College

The winners of the Department of Writing’s 2009 Writing Contest will receive prizes and get published in a small volume and online. The contest is open to any currently enrolled Ithaca College student.

Categories for Submission

• Poetry
• First-Year Essay
• Expository Essay
• Creative Nonfiction

The deadline for entries is Friday, April 10, at 5:00 p.m.

Submit entries by mail or in person to:

Winners will be announced April 23, 2009 on our website and
department bulletin board.

Contest winners will be honored at a reading and celebration at
the Handwerker Gallery on April 30, 2009 at 6:30p.m.
