Ali Erkan will participate in the panel, "Tackling the Late Appreciation Problem in Discrete Math," at the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges -- Northeastern Region (CCSCNE) conference, along with David Gries (Cornell Unversity), Michael Eckmann (Skidmore College), and James Heliotis (RIT). 

He will also present a paper called, "TIG: A Utility for Generating Course Web Pages and a Case Study for Teaching Data Structures." The paper outlines his open-source software, which provides an instructor-centered alternative to systems such as Blackboard for distributing academic content to students.
