The IC Anthropology Club benefit concert is for the Limbe Wildlife Centre in Cameroon, Africa. It will be held Thursday, April 9, at Oasis Dance Club (formerly Common Ground), 8:30-close.

The benefit features performances by Free Union and Les Forces Atomique, along with Oasis's own DJ. Cover is $5.

Help the Anthropology Club save animals and support conservation programs in Cameroon. The U.N. and an international coalition of zoos have declared 2009 the Year of the Gorilla! Gorillas are (with chimpanzees) human's closest relatives. Local programs conserve them by boosting the livelihoods and incomes of local people, so that poaching is discouraged.
