Jennifer Keough '10, an athletic training major in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences, was recently selected by the president of the New York Athletic Trainers' Assocation to represent the state as a student delegate for professional development.

The leadership qualities of Jennifer Keough have been recognized by the president of the New York State Athletic Trainers' Association  with her recent election as a state delegate for the Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association (EATA).

The EATA student delegation is designed to increase involvement in the "evolution" of student government in the profession of athletic training. As a state delegate, Jenny's responsibilities include generating and planning professional and educational activities for the student program at the annual EATA Conference.

This is the second such professional award for Jenny, as she was New York State's student representative at the iLead Student Leadership Conference, held in conjunction with the Athletic Trainers' Education Conference in Washington, D.C., recently.
