Physics Seminar
"What Can Be Done with Slow and Stopped Light?"
Tuesday, April 14
12:10 p.m., Center for Natural Sciences 204

Come and hear John Howell, of the University of Rochester, speak about his work in quantum optics. He has performed experiments that can slow light down such that its speed is small fractions of the speed of light in a vacuum! In essence, he can make light travel much slower than the speed of light!

Pizza and drinks provided for the modest fee of $1. Bring your own cups.
