From jazz to gospel music to classical -- it's music and more at a free pre-inaugural student concert!

Join President Rochon on Thursday, April 16, from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m. in the Fitness Center, with performances by Ithacappella, Amani Gospel Singers, 5 Cents Sharp Brass Quintet, Kalamos Saxophone Quartet, and the IC Jazz Combo.

Learn some interesting and little known facts about our new president and offer your advice if you were to be "President for a Day." Free pizza will be served -- get it while it lasts!

Musical groups include:

IC Jazz Combo
Combines Swing with Afro-Cuban rhythms to create a unique and exciting musical experience.

Kalamos Saxophone Quartet
IC graduate and undergraduate saxophonists with a diverse repertoire, from classical music and jazz to contemporary works for saxophone quartet.

Ithacappella
Also known as the Ithaca College Men's Chorus and now one of the premier male collegiate a cappella groups in the world. The group's repertoire ranges from traditional barbershop tunes to current radio hits.

Amani Gospel Singers
The gospel choir on campus that has sung behind gospel music superstars such as Kirk Franklin and Marvin Sapp.

5 Cents Sharp
IC's premier brass chamber ensemble (and all junior music education majors) that performs at school districts and festivals around New York State. The group even took a brief summer tour through Germany.
