On Monday April 20th Ithaca college's chapter of STAND:The National Student Anti-Genocide Coalition will be hosting Burmese refugee Aung Kyan Myint, a survivor and activist of the recent humanitarian conflict in Burma, and Jeff Hellman '07 spokesperson for the International Campaign for Freedom of Aung San Suu Kyi and Burma, and Co-Director/Co-Producer of the documentary on the Burmese crisis "Across the Sky: Honoring Home." The speakers will focus on education, and advocacy for the humanitarian crisis in Burma.
