IC Faculty and Staff Receive National Student Affairs RecognitionContributed by Brian McAree on 04/16/09 Congratulations to the following members of the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life staff on their recognition at the ACPA College Student Educators international convention in Washington, D.C. Each was recognized with national or state awards. John Bradac, director of career services, received the Outstanding Program Award given by the Commission for Career Development. Beth O'Neill, of the Office of Residential Life, received national recognition for her part in planning the Next Generation NY Pre-Conference Program for the College Student Personnel Association of New York State (CSPA-NYS). This program received a national award for outstanding state and international division innovation. Deborah Mohlenhoff, Center for Student Leadership and Involvement; John Rawlins, Office of Multicultural Affairs; and Doreen Hettich-Atkins, Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life, were recognized with the Outstanding Social Justice Innovation Award, given by CSPA-NYS. Also recognized by CSPA-NYS was Cynthia Henderson, associate professor of theater arts, who was given the Outstanding Contribution to Social Justice Award. Congratulations to all on receiving recognition for their good works. |
