Patricia Zimmermann Delivers Invited Talk at University of Iowa

Patricia Zimmermann, professor of cinema, photography and media arts, delivered an invited lecture at the University of Iowa on April 11.

Her lecture, entitled "Migratory Archives: Documentary across Platforms," analyzed the significant shift in documentary modalities towards collaborative remix projects with live music, locative media, and web-based collaborative design and archival projects. 

Zimmermann also served as a juror for the Iowa City International Documentary Festival (April 9-11), sponsored by the University of Iowa.
