Graduating in 2009 and Planning to Teach in New York State?Contributed by Diane Kinne on 04/22/09 Do you have questions about applying for teacher certification? The Department of Education is offering assistance in the certification application process to all spring and summer 2009 teaching option graduates. Drop-in hours are 1:00 - 3:30 pm on Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28. Later that week on Thursday, April 30 & Friday, May 1 the drop-in hours will be offered from 9-11:30 am. All sessions will be held in Muller 213 (across from the H&S Dean's Office). During these times students can apply for certification, ask questions about the complete process or pick up instructions for applying for certification or fingerprinting. If there are questions or to set up an appointment at another time, students should contact Diane Kinne at dkinne@ithaca.edu or 607-274-1488.
