Assistant professor of psychology Jeffrey Holmes published an article, entitled "Religiosity, Meaning in Life, and Clinical Symptomotology: A Comparison of African-American and European-American College Students." The research appeared in the most recent issue of the Journal of College Student Psychotherapy.

The research explored the relative roles of religiosity and general existential health in predicting negative psychological symptoms in college students and specifically examined the relationships as a function of student ethnicity.
