Ithaca College

Over the summer, ITS is planning to upgrade the version of SPSS in labs and eClassrooms, from 15 to 17, for Windows and Macintosh computers.

Typically individual network licenses for Faculty and Staff workstations are purchased from ITS on an annual basis and expire on May 30th of every year. License renewals do not automatically include an upgrade to the latest version. The existing version will be retained on the computer unless an upgrade is specifically requested.

ITS is concerned about the potential discrepancy between Faculty workstations and eClassroom instructor stations and encourage Faculty to request the upgrade to SPSS 17 (now called PASW Statistics) when renewing the license. For more details about SPSS please see our support site.
