April 29th - 7pm - IC Square Spit That! and Students Active For Ending Rape presents "Survivor Spoken Mic." This will be a safe space for survivors, allies, and the IC community to speak and listen. Our goal is to encourage those who have survived any ordeal to share their experiences and words of inspiration to others , as well as encourage allies and anyone who wants to speak out about violence. We hope that this event will bring solidarity on this campus. We'd love for everyone and anyone to speak! Whether you wing it, say it from heart, read a blurb, poem, slam poetry, or just speak, all is welcome! This is a great event! I am continually impressed by the student activism and awareness of such important topics. Keep it up!
