National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6, also known as National Nurses Day, through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. This year, the American Nurses Association has chosen the theme, "Nurses: Building a Healthy America," to reflect the commitment nurses make every day in building a healthy America for the public they serve.

At the Hammond Health Center of Ithaca College, we are extremely proud of the exceptional group of nursing professionals who have chosen college health as their specialty practice. The group brings an impressive array of past experiences together to form a comprehensive and collegial nursing practice team.
