Date: Friday, May 22, 2009 Mardi Gras is a traditional holiday celebrated in many of the southern states, with the most famous celebration taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana. The people there enjoy this celebration by going to parades where they catch the beads, doubloons, cups, and trinkets that are all thrown from floats. The Office of Human Resources and Staff Council are excited to host this event as we celebrate a successful year! We all have worked extremely hard, and this event is designed to provide an opportunity to kick-back, relax, have some fun with colleagues, and initiate summer for the well-deserving employees of Ithaca College. As always, there will be loads of food and door prizes - So, mark a large green, purple and gold star on May 22nd - and come dressed in your finest feathers, fringe, masks & gaudy jewelry! See ya there! IC Picnic Subcommittee: Mark Coldren, Sue DuBrava, Tanisha Graves, Jane Ray & Victor Rosa
