As part of our overall process of conserving the College's financial resources during these uncertain economic times, we are continuing to review a number of our policies and procedures for opportunities to be more efficient and effective with existing funds. As mentioned in previous communications, we have convened a Policy Advising Committee to assist in these reviews. This committee will closely examine existing policies and make recommendations to President's Council in the form of revised policy and guideline statements. Once approved, these policies will be reissued to members of the campus community. We will also be increasing the frequency of departmental audits for compliance with our policies. Review of the purchasing card policy has been completed by this committee and approved by President's Council.
