Summer Blues in Ithaca?

Contributed by Deborah Harper on 06/18/09

Free and confidential counseling services are available for students who would like to explore personal issues or have urgent concerns.

The campus can be a place of study and reflection during the quieter days of summer.  There are more opportunities to hang out with friends, pursue new interests and think about what's important.  It's also a good time to talk to a counselor about worries or problems that interfere with life during the academic year.

During June and July, a counselor is available for students in need and for those who want to take advantage of a less hectic pace to work on some personal issues.  Consultation services are also available for faculty, staff, parents and others who are concerned about the well-being of an Ithaca College student.

Appointment hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  We’re located on the ground floor of the Hammond Health Center.  Come by, or call, to schedule an appointment:  607-274-3136.
