Psychology professor Barney Beins has been named a fellow of the Association for Psychological Science.

The Association for Psychological Science is an international organization dedicated to the advancement of scientific psychology and its representation at the national and international level, with a mission to promote, protect, and advance the interests of scientifically oriented psychology in research, application, teaching, and the improvement of human welfare.

Fellow status is awarded to APS members who have made sustained outstanding contributions to the science of psychology in the areas of research, teaching, service, and/or application.
