Register for the Fall Faculty Welcome Workshop, which will be held Saturday, August 29, from 9:00 a.m. through lunch in the Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise. The theme is "Getting from Me to Them to Us." The registration deadline is Monday, August 24. Open to anyone who teaches at Ithaca College, the workshop focuses on faculty identities and student diversity; on an extremely valuable tool, the Teaching Goals Inventory; and on the multiple teaching tools in the book Classroom Assessment Techniques, which will be given to participants. The workshop is also an opportunity to hear about and join an all-College mentoring group. It is cofacilitated by Susanne Morgan, associate provost Carol Henderson, and assistant professor Annette Levine. |
