Park Productions Screens Documentary at Festival; Completes Video Funded by NSFContributed by Melissa Gattine on 09/04/09
Park Productions is a professional production unit based in the Park School of Communications. It provides students with real-world experience in a variety of media. Park Productions also completed a video on nanobiotechnology for the Sciencenter in Ithaca. The project was funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and was an update of a project that was produced a few years ago on the same topic. The new version included new video, stills, graphics, and voice-overs in English and Spanish. The video will open at the Sciencenter and also travel to museums nationwide. |

A short documentary that Park Productions produced, titled "Truth and Consequence," about experiments with children, screened at the ReelHeART International Film Festival in Toronto this summer. The video won third place in the short documentary category.
