Teach a Course Abroad This Winter, Spring Break, or SummerContributed by Rachel Gould on 09/04/09 Short-term study abroad programs are an important component of the overseas study options available to Ithaca College students. The Office of International Programs (OIP) would like to invite faculty and staff members to submit proposals for new and repeat short-term study abroad programs for winter, spring break, or summer 2010. College faculty and staff members have successfully lead programs over the past few years in a number of different locations, including China, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, England, Ghana, India, Italy, Korea, Malawi, Mexico, New Zealand, Scotland, and Turkey. For faculty and staff members planning to reoffer a short-term abroad program that has successfully been run in the past, there is a repeat program intent form that can be completed and submitted to the OIP, along with an updated budget worksheet. (Please note we are currently having technical problems with the budget worksheet. If you need a copy right away, we can e-mail you the spreadsheet.)
A workshop will be held in late September for faculty interested in learning more about teaching abroad. Workshop details will be posted on Intercom in the near future.
