Water for Sudan is sponsoring its first meal signaway of the year on Thursday, September 24 during the breakfast hours, so make sure you stop by our table in Campus Center (9/14-9/18, 9am-3pm) to sign away one of your meals and donate to Water for Sudan! The meal signaway process is simple - if you have a meal plan, all we need is your name, ID number and signature to process the signaway. Then, all you have to do is not swipe into the dining halls before 11am on Thursday the 24th. If you don't swipe in, about $2.25 is donated to Water for Sudan. Please note that this does not affect the number of meals on your meal plan, so if you get 14 meals a week, you will still have 14 meals for that week even if you choose to participate. Water for Sudan (an initiative of STAND, a student anti-genocide coalition) is dedicated to raising awareness about water inaccessibility throughout the world, with particular interest in Sudan, where potable water is extremely limited. Once we meet our goal of $5,000, a well will be constructed in southern Sudan in the name of Ithaca College's chapter. Help us reach our goal!
