Next Generation Vending and Food Service, Inc. and Ithaca Dining Services are pleased to announce the implementation of an exclusive healthy choice vending program at Ithaca College.

The snack and beverage machines on campus are now offering healthier choices in addition to the traditional product selection.

Vitalities™ is a unique program offered exclusively at Next Generation. This healthy choice initiative provides our customers the ability to make product selections based on healthy snack and beverage alternatives, while still having the flexibility to select name brand product options. Vitalities™ categories (e.g., lower in fat, lower in calories, higher in nutrients, etc.) and product selections have been reviewed and designated by a registered dietitian and they are updated regularly.

To clearly identify the Vitalities™ items, Next Generation provides special machine markings such as banners highlighting the presence of the Vitalities program, signs which explain the product categories and channel markers identifying the sensible alternatives in the designated machines.
