September 24 Biology Seminar: Opportunities and Planning in Biology CareersContributed by Nancy Pierce on 09/18/09 James Saunders Thursday, September 24 Co-Sponsored with the Department of Environmental Studies More Details on James Saunders A reception will take place before the lecture, from 3:45 to 4:00 p.m. in the first-floor lobby. Please bring your own reusable mug for beverages. Reduce, reuse, recycle. The Department of Biology offers a seminar series each semester representing a broad range of topics in biology. These seminars are open to the entire community. Refreshments are offered prior to the seminar and students are invited to meet with the speaker in a small group following the talk to answer questions related to the topic presented, or to answer questions regarding possible careers in biology. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A representative will also be presenting on the program’s scientific conservation projects in the tropics. 12:10 p.m. (Brown Bag) |
