"Submerged Ghosts," a new work by Raymond Ghirardo (Art) and Megan Roberts (TV-R), is currently on exhibition at Squeaky Wheel's new exhibition space in Buffalo until October 9, 2009.

"Submerged Ghosts," is a new three channel projected video and sound installation.  Images of walking shadows are projected into pools of water that are reflected on the opposite wall.  Castings of salt faces submerged in the pools melt and create disturbances in the ghostly reflections.  The work grew from a body of of artwork addressing  natural and manipulated landscapes and the associated personal histories.

Roberts and Ghirardo's work was supported in large part by the 2009 National Park artists in residence program at Whiskeytown/Shasta.
