Driver Safety Classes Offered October 19 and December 1Contributed by Christopher Crawford on 10/08/09 If you are a student and you need to drive a College-owned/leased vehicle for any reason, you must complete a driver safety class. The driver safety classes will be offered on Monday, October 19, 2009 in Textor 101 and Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Textor 103. Both classes are two hours long and begin at 7:00pm. Students can register for the driver safety class by visiting the Office of Risk Management located at 319 Peggy Ryan Williams Center. If they are unable to stop by to register in advance they can simply sign in when they attend the class. In addition to taking and passing the driver safety class, students must submit a Driver Information Form. It can take up to 14 business days for the College's insurance broker to review information on potential drivers, so be sure your students submit their forms well before they need to drive. Students should review the student driver handbook before attending the class.
